Itís Penrith Panthers turn play at the Colosseum, which is Hunter Stadium and the Newcastle Knights are sure to give them a welcome they deserve.
The last time these two sides met was in round 1 and the Panthers gave it to the Knights 30 to 8. But expect this game to be different. The Knights had a horrible night loosing Darius Boyd, Tyrone Roberts and Kurt Gidley plus they were without inform five/eighth Jarrod Mullen.
Except for their loyal fans many didnít give the Panthers a hope in hell of doing anything this season but they have proved many wrong including me. Currently Penrith are sitting in 9th position on the ladder compared to Newcastle at 15th but as results have proven so far this season where you sit on the ladder means bugger all as the comp is so close.
So although Penrith won in Round 1 I think Sundayís result will be the other way in favour of the Newcastle Knights. Who will have an impact on the game? I expect a big game from Mullen, McManus and Boyd as the trio push their claims to be picked for game 1 of origin. Who do you think will stand out tomorrow?
