Knights v Dogs Preview

  • Knights v Dogs Preview

The top of the table Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs host the Newcastle Knights tomorrow night at ANZ Stadium.

Last season these two sides met on three occasions with the Knights winning all three. If you look at the history between these two sides it a dead heat. They have met 41 times with 20 wins each and 1 draw.

The Bulldogs deserve to be favourites for this game though as they are leading the comp while for the Knights this season has been a bumpy ride, still struggling to find that winning formula that the Bulldogs have managed to find with three one point wins. When it comes down to it, Des Haslers boys know how to tough it out. But don't think for a minute that the Knights will not put up a good fight.

Newcastle is without Willie Mason but regain Kade Snowden. There is still talk that Jeremy Smith will be ruled out with injury also, but no replacement has been name as yet.

So far this comp has delivered some amazing results and I think this game can do the same. Bulldogs are due for a loss and I think the Knights can cause an upset this weekend. Mullen and Roberts are the keys for the Knights and if the Knights forwards can shut the Bulldogs down then we will have a great contest.
