Newcastle’s inconsistent form continued last night, going down to the Broncos at home 32 to 6.
The Knights had a lot of ball early but could not take advantage of the possession. On the other side, the Broncos took full advantage and made the Knights pay.
It was obvious early on that playmaker Jarrod Mullen was still not a hundred precent fit and the Broncos targeted the number 6 in defence.
Leading 16-6 at half time Brisbane continued to apply pressure resulting in three more tries to the visitors.
So another loss but the season is not over yet, the Knights are still only 2 points out of the top 8. One highlight was the debut of Jake Mamo on the wing. He tried his heart out and looks to be a player of the future. Mamo became the 249th Knights player.
Let us know your thoughts on the game. Was Brisbane really good or was Newcastle poor?
