Last time the Raiders and Knights met was just over 3 weeks ago at Hunter Stadium. That night Canberra got away with a 26 to 20 win but this clash will see the return of Jarrod Mullen which is a massive boost for the red and blue. Will he make a difference?
Overall the Knights donít have a great record at Canberra. The Raiders put over 40 points on them last season but the two meetings prior to that were wins to the Knights.
With the inclusion of Mullen and Boyd who also missed out in the Round 2 match, the Knights will be a harder opponent this time around for the Green Machine. Canberra have some classy players in Campese, Papalii and young gun Milford. Former Knight Dane Tilse will be out for a big game against his old club after signing a new deal with the Raiders, but itís not so good news for another former Novacastrian Joel Edwards who has been ruled out this week.
So from the way this comp has gone this year and my tipping let me down badly, this week I'm tipping with my head and not my heart. So it's a win for the Knights. By how manyÖ 10 will do.
Who will get the 2 points in Canberra? Let us know how you think this game will go and who will be the stand out players. Will Mullen be an instant impact?
