Storm front

  • Storm front

This Monday night the Storm will be out for revenge as they take on Newcastle Knights, the team that bundled them out of last years final series.

So far the Victorians are two from two, winning both games by a point. Although it is still early days, this was suppose to be the year Melbourne would slide down the ladder.

The departure of Gareth Widdup was a big blow but young gun Ben Hampton has grabbed the number 6 jersey with both hands and owns it like he has been playing there for years. Throw in the big three Smith, Slater and Cronk, plus the Bromwich brothers, Hoffman, Hinchcliffe and Harris and the purple man from the southern capital are still a force capable of doing big things this season.
