The Knights have had some pretty handy fullbacks over the years. If you had to pick your top, who would they be?
Here is a few players that have served the club well and also in the number 1 jersey.
5). Tony Kemp – Although he played mostly centre for the Knights, his first season (1988) in the top grade was at fullback. His try in the final moments in Round 3 of 1988 against Balmain gave the Knights their first win at home in the Winfield Cup.
4). Mark Hughes – In 2001 Boozy represented New South Wales at fullback.
3). Adam MacDougall – In 2000, McDougall played 16 games at Fullback. He scored a total of 16 tries with 10 from fullback.
2). Brad Godden – After making the semi finals with the Knights in 1992, Godden capped off a great season with selection in the Kangaroos World Cup squad.
1). Robbie O’Davis – Although there were many highlights, his two tries in the 1997 Grand Final and awarded Clive Churchill Medal winner, will go down as one of the great moments in his career.
